Job summary

CoxHealth Branson offers a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as an unlicensed assistive personnel.

During clinical rotation, you will provide basic patient care under supervision, take vitals, assist with bathing and mobility, change linens, and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff. A competency assessment will be administered at the end of the training. Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent; prior patient care experience is desired.

Job Description

Functions within a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel. While in the clinical learning environment, will provide basic patient care under direction and supervision of clinical educator and nursing staff. During clinical rotation, may perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens and other duties within their scope of practice as directed. While in clinical setting, obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff or clinical educator and reports any changes in patient condition. At the end of the training, a competency assessment will be administered to validate learning.

Education
  • Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Preferred: Prior patient care or health care related experience
