Job summary

Cox Medical Center Branson is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff at our Branson, MO facility.

The role supports daily patient care activities including vitals, hygiene, mobility, and linen changes. Applicants should have Missouri CNA certification or enroll in the MO CNA pathway and complete licensing within 120 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 3 months experience as nursing assistant in inpatient or long-term care, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in past 3 years.
• OR completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program within past 3 years.
• OR completed the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited program.
• Missouri CNA license OR MO CNA Appendix; license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens as assigned.
• Obtain information on patient condition and report changes to nursing staff or clinical educator.
• Participate in clinical training and competency assessments as required.
