Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of job-related experience and/or training.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provides physical support for daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment and adheres to infection-control, hazardous waste and other policies and protocols.
• Performs other related job duties as requested.
