Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is hiring a Nurse Assistant for the Night Shift at Macomb Hospital. The role is full-time (36 hours) with a 3x12 hour schedule and every other weekend, located in Clinton Township, MI 48038.

You will assist RNs in patient care and participate in ongoing education to ensure high-quality care. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Assistant program (or current nursing program enrollment), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or enrollment in nursing program is preferred.
• BLS Heart Saver Certification required during orientation.
• Foreign-trained RN without Michigan license may qualify.
• Medical Assistant program may be considered.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR
• Current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR
• Foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR
• Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
