Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Providence Novi Hospital to join the night shift team. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week from 7pm to 7:30am, supporting patient safety and comfort under RN supervision.

You will contribute to care planning and respond to emergencies while maintaining high standards of excellence. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Nurse Assistant program (or enrolled in a nursing program) and BLS Heart

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completion is required.
• BLS Heart Saver Certification is required during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific patient care duties under RN supervision to meet safety and comfort needs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
