Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Patient Care Team, Nursing Assistants assist with the direct day-to-day care of patients and families. They perform various non-patient care duties, ensure positive interactions with patients, families, and visitors, and provide care tailored to the ages and developmental needs of patients, including adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience, with on-the-job education and training if necessary
• Basic Life Support certification or obtained within the introductory period

Preferred Qualifications:

• One-year experience in an acute care setting
