MUSC Pee Dee Division in Florence, SC is seeking Nurse Assistants to join our nursing teams. This position supports the nursing staff with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transportation of patients. Full-time and PRN opportunities are offered. Completion of an accredited nurse assisting program or at least one year of patient care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Assist with bed linen changes, transportation to tests and procedures, and nourishment delivery.

Job Description

Assists nursing team with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients. Assists patients with personal hygiene, dressing, walking. Changes bed linens and assists with patient transportation to tests and procedures. May serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse.
