Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide II for the Labor and Delivery unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. This full-time position (35.1 hours per week) features 12-hour night shifts and requires a high school diploma or GED plus Nurse Aide II certification or active nursing student status.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, admissions and discharges support, maintaining a safe environment, and effective communication with the care team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing processes and patient care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the nursing process by giving direct patient care under RN direction.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and promotes fall precautions and proper use of lift equipment.
• Ensures accurate and timely communication of patient information.
