A leading healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Nurse Assistant for their ICU in Wyandotte. The role involves providing essential patient care and support under the supervision of an RN, ensuring patient comfort and safety in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have the required education and certifications, along with a passion for patient care.
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3x12 hours shifts)

As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will assist with essential patient care tasks and actively contribute to a positive patient experience.
ABOUT OUR UNIT:
Intensive Care Unit- is an 18-bed mixed medical-surgical intensive care unit. The population consists of patients with multiple and complex medical diagnoses including but not limited to DKA, Respiratory Failure, Post-Cardiac Arrest, post-cardiac catheterization with interventions, sepsis, stroke/tPA, surgical procedures requiring q1h monitoring or lifesaving interventions. Our nurses are trained in caring for patients with balloon-pumps and Impella devices. RN utilize the hypothermic protocol in post-arrest patients. It is a great place to grow your knowledge and clinical skills. The RN staff will attend the Critical Care orientation class. ACLS certification is mandatory within ONE YEAR of employment.
