Job summary

Kenmore Mercy Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a Nurse Assistant for Evening/Night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. This full-time role (FTE 0.92) supports professional caregivers, provides basic patient care, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment.

Eligible for THRIVE program with Workforce Coach during first year. Responsibilities include assisting with patient needs, following hospital policy, and adhering to standards of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant course preferred.
• Prior Nurse Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under supervision.
• Assist professional caregivers with patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment.
• Support shift with evenings, nights and weekend/holiday rotation.

Work Schedule: Evenings Nights with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am

Summary: The Nurse Assistant (NA) provides basic care to patients by assisting professional patient caregivers in meeting identified needs of patients. Performs various patient care activities and provides related non-professional services as required to meet the personal and comfort needs of patients. Maintains a clean, safe, and neat environment. Functions under the supervision of the professional nurse. Performs duties of the job in accordance with hospital policy, standards of care and procedures. This position is eligible to participate in the THRIVE program that provides education and a Workforce Coach to support them through their first year of employment.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited course for nursing assistance preferred

Experience

• Previous Nurse Assistant experience preferred
