Powers Health is hiring a Nurse Assistant for the 4 South Renal unit at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE with a 72-hour pay period, scheduled days and evenings, and every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Nursing assistant certification required or completion of nursing program.
• CPR certification required.
• Annual skill validations & infection control procedures must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs designated patient care activities for personal needs, comfort and safety.
• Assists patients with ADLs, ambulation, mobility, positioning, turning and lifting.
• Assists patients with transfers and discharges.
• Assists with meals, hydration and dietary needs.
