Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in HFHS Nurse Assistant Apprenticeship Program recognized by the DOL.
• Completion of all program testing, exams, and competencies within the designated timeframe.
• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting safety and comfort needs of patients under the direction of an RN or licensed clinician.
• Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations following established procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and skill development to enhance patient care.
