Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team in providing compassionate patient care, assisting with hygiene, mobility, and daily activities.

Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hourly pay. Completion of a nurse assisting program preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nurse assisting program.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing team with patient care activities to support personal needs, comfort, and safety.
• Assist patients with hygiene, dressing, and walking.
• Change bed linens and help transport patients to tests and procedures.
• Serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
• Record temperature or vital signs under supervision of a nurse.
