Job summary

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, part of Henry Ford Health, seeks a Nurse Assistant to support patient safety and comfort under RN supervision. This role contributes to care plans and responds to emergencies in a fast-paced hospital setting in Wyandotte, MI.

The Nurse Assistant will participate in continuing education and uphold hospital standards, providing compassionate care to the community served by Henry Ford Health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or enrollment in a nursing program is required or alternative credentials listed.
• Foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license may qualify.
• Medical Assistant program may qualify.
• One year of prior experience in a similar role is acceptable.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
