Job summary

The Nurse Assistant at Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH, is a full-time night-shift position on a 12-hour schedule. You will support nursing staff by helping patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and keep a safe, clean environment under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Nurse Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role contributes directly to patient comfort, safety, and quality of care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.None required.None required; entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a nurse assistant, nursing aide, or in a healthcare setting preferred. State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio, active and in good standing
