Position Overview

This Nurse Apprentice opportunity is per diem and offers a flexible schedule. The individual in this role will support nursing care and coordinate the delivery of patient treatments in a medical/surgical facility, ensuring adherence to hospital or department policies, standards, and practices. Responsibilities include assessing patient health, developing care plans, administering treatments, educating patients and families, and liaising with physicians and staff.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and re-assess as per policy, including pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
  • Formulate a patient care plan in coordination with an RN preceptor.
  • Revise the plan of care based on patient response and evaluate its effectiveness daily under supervision.
  • Understand medication knowledge and their correct administration under supervision, considering patient age and condition.

Qualifications
