***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Perform pre-anesthetic screenings, including physical evaluations and patient interviews, and document results.
  2. Develop, recommend, and implement standard operating instructions and practices for the administration and management of anesthetics to ensure client safety, confidentiality, and timely, ethical, and quality service.
  3. Select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications or treatments.
  4. Administer post-anesthesia medications or fluids to support patients' cardiovascular systems.
  5. Evaluate patients' responses post-surgery or post-anesthesia, taking corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur.
  6. Monitor effects of anesthesia, drugs, techniques, and patient reactions.
  7. Select, order, or administer medications, fluids, or blood products as necessary.
  8. Discharge patients from post-anesthesia care. Perform other duties as assigned per contract requirements.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
  • Current licensure and compliance with state requirements for CRNAs.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed Nurse Anesthetist.
  • Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
  • Board certification.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work flexibly, including potential shift changes.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Bending, stooping, and lifting as needed for patient care.
