Highland Hospital in Oakland is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for per diem positions. The role involves administering anesthetics and providing patient care in a dynamic anesthesiology department. New graduates are welcome to apply.

We are currently recruiting for 3 (three) Per Diem/Services As Needed (SAN) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to work 12-hour, varied shifts in our Highland Hospital’s Anesthesiology department. These positions report to the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. The clinicians will provide inpatient, emergency, and on-call care, handling a range of surgeries, procedures, and circumstances within our anesthesiology team.

Under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or administrator, participates or assists in administering anesthetics via inhalation and intravenous methods. Assists in intubation and resuscitation of newborn infants under physician supervision. Performs related duties as required.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; graduation from a school of anesthesia meeting American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and California State Board of Registered Nurses standards.
Experience: At least two years of full-time experience in administering anesthetics via inhalation and intravenous methods in an active hospital or clinic setting. Experience in obstetrical and emergency anesthesia, as well as neonatal intubation and resuscitation, is desirable.
Licenses/Certifications:
Pay Range: $144.39 - $187.26 Per Hour
The pay range reflects the base pay scale at Alameda Health System. Final compensation depends on experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, collective bargaining agreements, and operational needs. Alameda Health System offers a comprehensive benefits package.
