Job summary

IRMC in Indiana, PA seeks a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for full-time coverage with 2-8 hour shifts and 1-24 hour shift per week. You will provide anesthesia care for elective and emergent procedures, work with physicians and the care team, and manage patient needs across the life span, including neonate to geriatric.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an approved anesthesia school, PA RN license, CRNA certification eligibility, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP.

Qualifications

Job Summary
Provides care through demonstrated competency in the deliver/management of anesthesia care, Provides care for elective and emergent procedures. Works collaboratively with management, physicians, and other members of the patient care team. Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over the span of life. Identifies each patient’s age specific needs and provides appropriate care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. Required in-house call.   • A Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Nurse who is eligible to sit for an upcoming Nurse Anesthesia Certification Examination.
  
  
  • This person will not be permitted to cover 24 – hour in – house call.
  
  
  • The GRNA will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Anesthesiologist.
  
  
  • This position will be afforded to a new employee for one certification cycle only. At that time the employee must successfully pass the certification exam to meet the requirement.
