York Hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia services across assigned surgical areas. You will deliver care under a medically directed model with a 1:3 ratio, supporting trauma, neuro/spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular and other specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across assigned surgical and procedural areas at York Hospital.
• Deliver anesthesia care under a medically directed model with a 1:3 ratio, maximum 1:4.
• Support cases across trauma, neuro/spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular/APS, NORA, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics.
• Perform GETA, MAC, regional and spinal anesthesia, and ultrasound techniques as required.
• Provide epidural, C-section, and cardiac anesthesia coverage when assigned to overnight shifts.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Coverage Period: 01/04/2027 – Until End of Approval
• - Monday–Friday. Day shifts: 6:15 AM–4:45 PM, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• - Monday – Friday. Overnight shifts: 11 PM – 7 AM

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: All ages
• Patient Volume/Census: Varies by anesthetizing location
• Case Mix: Trauma, neuro and spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular and APS, NORA locations, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics.

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma designation noted in the department description; facility trauma field lists Adult I, II, III, IV.
• Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians
• Support Staff Available: Medically directed anesthesia model with a 1:3 ratio, maximum 1:4
