Responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing and assessing patient condition and developing anesthesia management plans in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist.
  2. Administering anesthetic agents, calculating doses, and monitoring parameters.
  3. Maintaining patient documentation and responding to emergencies such as code/trauma situations to establish and maintain patient airways via intubation.
  4. Transporting patients from surgery to recovery and reporting patient status to physicians and nursing staff.

Additional responsibilities involve demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles, complying with safety and quality standards, participating in professional development, and providing excellent patient service.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. Masters Degree in Nursing.
  2. At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  3. Licenses: Registered Nurse license, Multi-State License, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification.
  4. Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia and maintaining certification with 40 CME credits every 2 years.
