Job Summary
The CRNA provides anesthesia services to patients. General responsibilities include evaluation of patients' medical history, participation in selection of type of anesthesia, administration and management of anesthetic as well as monitoring of patients before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications
Education
Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required.
Licenses and Credentials
Anesthetist, Certified Registered Nurse [CRNA - National] required.
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] preferred.
Experience
Experience as a CRNA 0-1 year preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics and pharmacology as related to anesthesia.
Cultural competence and language skills for patient population is desired.
Demonstrates clinical competence within the scope of clinical practice standards set by the department.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based care setting, with the ability to work independently as well as in a care team to deliver high quality care.
Effective interpersonal skills to work with surgeons and staff in a variety of cases and environments.
Ability to keep up with up to date best practices in the field of anesthesia.
