Job summary

Locums is seeking a CRNA for immediate, ongoing coverage in Fredericksburg, VA. The role covers inpatients and outpatients with a mix of surgical cases, including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic and regional anesthesia.

Expect general, regional anesthesia and post-operative management in a high-volume setting. The assignment requires collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff, with a 40-hour work week and a call schedule roughly every eight weeks.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs, airway, and anesthetic depth throughout procedures
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques including spinal, epidural, and extremity blocks
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues intraoperatively
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe perioperative care
