Job Description - Nurse Anesthesia Faculty - Full-Time Non-Tenure Stream (25001863)

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for full-time, non-tenure stream faculty in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia.

Faculty promotion opportunities are available across all ranks. Qualifications include an earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) and eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania. Salary and rank depend on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Assistant Professor: A) Earned doctorate in nursing or related field; B) Evidence of or potential for impactful scholarship; C) Teaching and mentoring excellence, promoting inclusivity.
  • Associate Professor: A) Earned doctorate; B) Recognized impactful scholarship; C) Teaching and mentoring excellence; D) Leadership potential.
  • Professor: A) Earned doctorate; B) Internationally recognized impactful scholarship; C) Teaching and mentoring excellence; D) Leadership in the field.
Desired Qualifications:

At least 2 years of full-time practice as a CRNA, with experience in developing curricular materials and teaching in clinical and classroom settings.
