Park Nicollet seeks a Registered Nurse to join the ENT team in a Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 schedule at the Shakopee location. The RN will use a systematic nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patient confidentiality and advocating for patient rights.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, ADN or diploma (BSN preferred), and 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Associate degree or diploma required; Bachelor preferred.
• One year of prior experience in nursing preferred.
• Maintain a current state licensed registered nurse licensure and BLS.

Position Summary:

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Accountability for the quality of care delivered, recognizing the limits of knowledge and experience; addressing situations beyond the nurse’s competency; and performing to the level of education, knowledge, and skill ordinarily expected of an individual who has completed an approved professional nursing education program. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment of care and advocates for the best interests of individual patients. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 0800-1700- Shakopee Location no weekends no holidays

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Graduated from a school of nursing.

Associate degree or diploma required; Bachelor preferred.

One year of prior experience in nursing preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

Maintain a current state certified registered nurse’s licensure.

BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served.

Possesses the qualities of strong critical thinking skills and ability to multitask.
