Job description

Grace Village Retirement Community is looking for Nurses (RN or LPN) who have a passion for the elderly. Any shift, full or part-time available.

Nurse's (RN or LPN) Scope of Responsibility:
  1. Supervise nursing personnel on assigned shifts and assist with the delivery of excellent, loving care to all our residents.
  2. Monitor nursing personnel in the performance of their duties and give timely relevant evaluations of their work.
  3. Observe and assess individual resident needs in all areas, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and social, and assist in developing care plans to meet those needs.
  4. Assist in the initial and ongoing training of nursing aid staff.
  5. Work as a team to meet the needs of our residents and their family members in excellent customer service.
  6. Ensure that each resident receives quality care.
  7. Promote the mission, vision, and values of Grace Village.
  8. Maintain quality assurance of nursing documentation and records.
  9. Observe and assess residents’ needs, notify physicians when necessary, and follow through with all new orders.
  10. Make assignments of residents, duties, and breaks for nursing staff.
  11. Supervise all nursing personnel on shift – monitoring job duties, practices, procedures, behavior, and dress code of nursing staff.
  12. Supervise or administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  13. Chart all medications and treatments and PRN results.
  14. Order medications/treatments as ordered and check them off when they arrive.
Nurse's (RN or LPN) Qualifications:

RN or LPN with a current Indiana license in good standing. Experience in Long-Term Care is a plus!

Physical Demands:

Stand/walk/communicate, hear, see, and use fingers/hands constantly; sit, lift, carry objects, and pushing/pulling occasionally.

Nurse's (RN or LPN) Benefits:
  1. Pay based on experience. Base pay may increase at $0.25/hour per year up to a maximum of $5.00/hour for previous experience.
  2. Shift Diff of $1.50/hour for 2nd shift and $1.00/hour for 3rd shift; Weekend Diff of $2.00/hour on Saturdays and Sundays for all shifts.
  3. Refer a nurse friend after your 90 days and receive a bonus up to $600 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply.
  4. Monthly employee celebrations and recognition.
  5. Cigna PPO health insurance that begins the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
  6. HSA Account with employer matching contribution for single ($30) and family ($50) coverages per pay period.
  7. Dental, vision, life insurance (Begins 1st of the month following 30 days of employment).
  8. Company matched 401(k) up to 4% of wages with no vesting schedule, eligible 1st of month following 90 days of employment.
  9. PTO accrued when you work 40 hours in a 2-week pay period.
  10. Paid holidays for full-time employees, part-time employees receive holiday pay if they work the holiday.
  11. Developmental training/Tuition reimbursement.
  12. Discounted employee meals on site.
  13. Christmas Club Savings Account.
