Hilo Benioff Medical Center seeks an entry-level Nurse Aide to support nursing staff with direct patient care and basic nursing tasks. You will assist with daily living activities and communicate patient needs clearly.

Start Date for Nurse Aide Training Program is November 30, with training through December 12. Candidates should have knowledge of personal care; nursing experience is preferred; BLS within 6 months is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal hygiene and bodily care; nursing experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a health facility; basic nursing skills and patient care.
• BLS certification within 6 months; current BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing support as directed.
• Observe and report patient conditions; assist with activities of daily living.
