Job summary

Ogeechee Technical College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the Nurse Aide Program. Faculty provide course instruction and align activities with Student Learning Outcomes, using Blackboard LMS to support online and hybrid learners.

The position requires a Georgia LPN/RN license, 3 years nursing experience, and CPR AED certification. Teaching may occur face-to-face, hybrid, or online, with commensurate compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Georgia LPN or RN license required.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience.
• Willing to attend the Train-the-Trainer Workshop from Alliant Health Solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a weekly planner for learning activities aligned with outcomes.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication in course content.
• Review and finalize course syllabus and LMS (Blackboard) materials.
• Evaluate student progress toward learning outcomes.
• Submit required documentation on time (grades, attendance, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.
• Establish a classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
• Travel to OTC locations as needed for teaching assignments.
