The ideal candidate holds a Virginia RN license, at least two years of clinical experience, and a background in long-term care settings. You will foster a safe learning environment and collaborate with faculty to meet accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required or multistate licensure privilege
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in direct client care or supervision in long-term care
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry advancements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Nurse Aide curriculum standards
• Instruct students in classroom and clinical settings to build required nursing skills
• Assess student performance with regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with faculty and healthcare professionals to enhance program effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress; communicate with students and parents as needed
• Stay current with nursing education trends and integrate new techniques into the curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom that fosters participation and learning love
• Organize recruitment, community outreach, and program promotion activities
• Ensure compliance with state and federal nursing education regulations and certification requirements
