Job summary

Avir at Abilene in Texas is seeking a Nurse Aide to join our team. After completing online and clinical training, the CNA will provide direct nursing care to residents according to policy, and work toward CNA certification within four months of class completion.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, answering call lights promptly, making beds, taking vital signs, transporting residents, and following all corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous nursing home experience preferred

Job description

We are seeking a Nurse Aide to join our team!Our next CNA class begins in October 2026. After completing online and clinical training, the Nurse Aide provides direct nursing care to the residents, while seeking certification, according to established policies and procedures and ensures that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Nurse Aides are expected to complete their certification within four (4) months of completing the CNA class.
