Homewood Living Martinsburg is offering a paid Nurse Aide in Training program with both full- and part-time positions. Training is followed by competency evaluation; certification must be obtained within 120 days of employment. Qualifications

• Must be listed on the state Nursing Assistant registry within 120 days of employment.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and stand for most of the shift.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow care plans.
• English reading/writing proficiency to carry out care plans and notes.
• Motivation to work with geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies and procedures.
• Support personal hygiene and daily living tasks as needed.
• Prepare clean linens and ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Document observations accurately and report changes to supervisor.
