Regency Integrated Health Services at Ebony Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Nurse Aide in Training. You will receive combined online and on-the-floor training with the goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Aide through a paid program at no cost.
During the Hospitality Aide introductory period, you’ll support residents and staff, learn essential daily care tasks, and demonstrate reliability and compassion. Eligible for Education Assistance to advance to CNA.

Nurse Aide in Training is a program that allows the employee to receive online and on the floor training as a Nurse Aide. Those that provide good customer service, are reliable, are team players, and have a strong work ethic will become eligible for Education Assistance to become a Certified Nurse Aide. Depending on availability and the employee’s learning preferences, PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING will be provided at NO COST through one of the following avenues:
The Nurse Aide and C.N.A.s work under the direction of the Charge Nurses and will provide assigned residents with assistance for activities of daily living as outlined in the resident’s customized care plan. Nurse Aides and C.N.As must be compassionate, friendly, and enjoy helping others in order to provide the personal level of care expected.
Prior to beginning the Nurse Aide class, you will work in the role of Hospitality Aide for a minimum of two (2) weeks. This introductory period allows both you and the facility to ensure the Certified Nurse Aide role is a good fit and provides you with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the responsibilities involved in caring for our residents.
Successful completion of this introductory period and demonstration of reliability, professionalism, and compassion for residents will allow you to move forward into the Nurse Aide Training Class provided by the facility.
