  2. The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary provides secretarial support to patients, families, and staff to ensure efficient, customer-oriented service delivery.
  3. Supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  4. The four key concepts of PFCC are:
    1. Dignity and Respect: Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices.
    2. Information Sharing: Communicate and share complete, unbiased information with patients and families in an affirming and useful manner.
    3. Participation: Encourage and support patients and families in participating in care and decision-making at their chosen level.
