Job Summary
The Nurse Aide I assists in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe patient environment and performing job duties safely. Maintains clinical and professional competencies suitable to the needs of the patient population served.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
This role requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support up to 35 pounds. Good English speaking and understanding skills are necessary. Manual and finger dexterity are required. Physical abilities testing is mandatory.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles and skills appropriate to the ages, cultures, developmental stages, and specific needs of the patient population served.
