Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and continence.
• Support senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follow department protocols for documentation.
• Prioritize and adjust assignments throughout shifts to meet changing needs.
• Perform duties within the assigned environment as directed by Tabitha.

Additional Responsibilities Based on Certification

• Med Aide: Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered; evaluate emergencies and perform CPR if necessary.
• Bath Aide: Assist with bathing while promoting independence.
• Functional Maintenance Aide: Perform exercises, assist with activities of daily living, and help improve functional activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• Fluency in communication to understand and follow instructions, read care plans, and interact effectively.
• Ability to access the work area and perform duties safely with proper equipment.
• Unrestricted lift, push, and pull strength; pass a physical exam.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Current CNA certification in good standing on the Nebraska State Registry; CPR certification required. For Med Aide roles, additional certifications are required and must be maintained.

Additional Requirements

Must meet Tabitha’s vaccination policies and pass a physical exam demonstrating strength and agility.
