Responsibilities

1. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
2. Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
3. Follows department protocol for documentation.
4. Prioritizes and adjusts assignments throughout the shift to meet changing needs.
5. Performs duties within the assigned environment as directed by Tabitha.
6. Additional duties based on specific certifications:
   • Med Aide: administers medications, treatments, evaluates emergencies, performs CPR if trained.
   • Bath Aide: assists with bathing, promoting independence.
   • Functional Maintenance Aide: performs exercises, activities of daily living, and assists with functional activities as instructed.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA and/or MA-40 certification in good standing.
• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Meet vaccination requirements.

Skills and Attributes

• Sufficient fluency to understand and follow instructions, read care plans, and interact effectively.
• Ability to safely perform duties, including lift/push/pull of 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.
