Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
- Assist with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
- Follow department protocol for documentation.
- Prioritize assignments and adjust throughout the shift to meet changing needs.
- Perform duties within the assigned environment as directed by Tabitha.
- Follow the care plan for each individual Senior/client.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Additional duties if working in a Residential Style Living Community or utilizing MA40, such as preparing meals, laundry, evaluating emergencies, performing CPR, and administering medications under RN supervision.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum age 18.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
- CNA certification in good standing required.
- CPR certification required if CNA or Med Aide.
- All certifications must be current and employee-funded.
- Must meet vaccination requirements.
