Responsibilities

1. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
2. Assist with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
3. Follow department protocol for documentation.
4. Prioritize assignments and adjust throughout the shift to meet changing needs.
5. Perform duties within the assigned environment as directed by Tabitha.
6. Follow the care plan for each individual Senior/client.
7. Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
8. Additional duties if working in a Residential Style Living Community or utilizing MA40, such as preparing meals, laundry, evaluating emergencies, performing CPR, and administering medications under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum age 18.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• CNA certification in good standing required.
• CPR certification required if CNA or Med Aide.
• All certifications must be current and employee-funded.
• Must meet vaccination requirements.
