Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and helping maintain a safe, clean environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and effective communication in a fast-paced care setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in acute or long-term care and hold CPR/BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
