This position focuses on providing basic health care, supporting resident independence, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment. It plays an important part in ensuring high-quality care for every resident. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:

• Resident Care: Provide hygiene support, meet physical and emotional needs, and maintain a clean environment
• Rehabilitation Support: Assist staff with restorative programs that help residents build independence and confidence
• Communication Skills: Use therapeutic communication and notify supervisors about changes in resident status
• Daily Assistance: Help residents with meals, personal tasks, bed-making, and proper care of belongings
• Activity Support: Escort residents to appointments and encourage participation in programs and activities
• Skill Development: Attend training to strengthen job skills and improve care quality

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with a 30-minute lunch or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with no lunch.
  • Rotating on and off duty days
  • Working weekends and holidays in accordance with assigned schedule
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
• Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.

Special Requirement:

• This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
