Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking dedicated Nurse Aides (NAs) to support residents with nursing care, daily living activities, and restorative services in Honolulu, HI. TNAs orient residents to the unit, assist with bathroom, showers, meal schedules, and activity calendars, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Candidates should have Hawaii NA training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and must schedule the Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
• Orient residents to the unit and facility: bathroom, call system, shower schedule, lanai/common areas; introduce to residents at table; inform meal schedule and snack times; and inform of activity calendar and locations of activities.
• Respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, and alarms immediately; respond to family requests immediately; inform Charge Nurse when required.
