NYC Health + Hospitals Bellevue is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit. Under supervision, you will diagnose health problems, implement nursing plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires a valid NYS RN license and ongoing BLS certification. Post-acute care experience is preferred for applicable assignments, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven public health

Qualifikationen

• A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in Post-Acute Care is considered an asset for certain assignments.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit.
• Diagnose and treat responses to actual or potential health problems using nursing methods and techniques.
• Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes for continuity of care.
• Interpret and report patient responses to the health team and participate in planning a comprehensive care program.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and other appropriate learning experiences.
