Saint Luke’s Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse Abstractor for our Cardiology teams. This role will be responsible for updating charts and consolidate records from various sources to prepare for patient visits. As a nurse abstractor, you will identify conditions and treatment plans for physicians and address patient safety concerns with the care team.
Schedule: Part Time, Flexible schedule, 25 hours a week.
We can work with your availability.
*This is a remote position with a requirement to live in the Kansas City metro.
The Work:
Review scanned medical records. Identify risk factors. Keep new patient information updated for future visits.
Pull in outside records into chart from CareEverywhere when available.
We are looking for a nurse with a strong cardiology background and ability to see the big picture to bring the right care team together to ensure strong patient outcomes and improved patient experience. This position requires strong attention to detail and passion for improving patient care.
