Job Summary

The Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care while supporting efficient clinic operations and company-wide collaboration.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Maintains accurate documentation of patient care, treatments, patient encouters (including but not limited to key details, conditions, medication changes, education provided, actions taken, provider feedback, resolutions, appointments, and updated treatment plans) and responses in the EMR, and promptly report and address any changes in patient condition, including adverse reactions.
  • Monitor and complete all assigned tasks, patient messages, and patient-related communications in a timely manner.
  • Provide comprehensive direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established clinic standards, protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with Providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes, continuity of care, assess patient needs, plans and modifies care, and implements interventions.
  • Acts as liaison between patient and provider on questions and concerns. Provides patient advocacy by escalating patient issues, concerns, or changes promptly to Providers & take necessary recommended actions as directed by the Provider for resolution.
  • Triages and answers patient medical phone calls and determines how to assist them.
  • Perform venipuncture for laboratory testing while following safety and infection control protocols.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including intramuscular, subcutaneous injections in accordance with provider orders and clinic protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring proper setup, sterilization, and equipment readiness for procedures and patient visits.
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain inventory of medications, medical supplies, and clinical materials to support daily operational needs.
  • Assist Providers with a variety of in-office procedures, including but not limited to cosmetic injectable treatments and pellet therapy.
  • Provide thorough patient education regarding provider recommended and administered treatment plans, expected outcomes, available services, and financial or pricing information.
  • Adhere to the established weekly rotating depth chart, taking full responsibility and ownership or assigned duties to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
  • Receives and ensures accuracy of information on Patient Supply Order requests before submitting to the Fulfillment Coordinator for shipping.
  • Submit Therapeutic Phlebotomy orders and Lab Requisitions as appropriate.
  • Process faxed medical record requests in compliance with HIPAA and upload documents to maintain organized records.
  • Conduct exit consultations.
  • Update patient cancellation spreadsheet.
  • Demonstrate consistent alignment with Core Values in all patient, team, and operational interactions.
  • Actively contribute to a positive team environment by supporting staff morale, fostering a culture of accountability and respect.
  • Maintain flexibility to provide clinic coverage within the assigned region.
  • Assists with training or shadowing of new hires.
  • Provide Patient Scheduling Coordinator (PSC/front desk ) coverage when needed, including during staff absences such as vacation or illness. In clinics without a designated front desk role, PSC responsibilities will be shared among clinical staff and assigned through a weekly rotation.
  • Adhere to timekeeping and attendance policies, including accurate clocking in and out and consistently taking the required 30-minute meal break in accordance with company policy and labor regulations.
  • Perform additional clinical and operational duties as assigned to support patient care.

Physical Requirements

Role will be subject to an office clinical environment which is subject to indoor conditions. Physical demands include but are not limited to:

  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, stooping, kneeling, crouching, vision acuity, talking and hearing.
  • Sustain repetitive movements.
  • Fine motor control: Grasp small instruments, write clearly, and type on computers.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking, listening, and responding in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.
