Function

Responsible for special cleaning duties within the housekeeping department, requiring heavy lifting, carrying, and the use of mechanical equipment associated with heavy cleaning duties.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy physical duties within an assigned section, ensuring all tasks are completed according to departmental procedures, policies, and goals.
  • Operate equipment such as carpet shampooers, vacuums, and chemical cleaning solutions.
  • Use ladders for cleaning ceiling fans and light fixtures.
  • Move and rearrange furniture and deliver supplies as needed.
  • Handle chemicals safely, following Nugget's hazard communication policy.
  • Provide outstanding guest service, including smiling, making eye contact, and assisting guests.
  • Maintain safety awareness, report unsafe conditions or accidents immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Recognize and acknowledge team members who go above and beyond.
  • Follow Nugget policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Work safely and maintain a safe environment for all.
  • Report unsafe conditions and incidents promptly.
  • Maintain a professional image and positive attitude.
  • Attend regularly and punctually.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • At least 6 months of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods.
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor skills.
