Job summary

Constellation is seeking motivated engineering students for a 2027 Engineering Internship at our Nuclear location in Clinton, IL. This paid, 10-week program starts June 7, 2027 and runs through August 13, 2027, offering hands-on project work under supervision.

Interns work on real projects such as cooling tower inspections, core analysis, and feedwater pump design, gaining practical experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering program for Fall 2027.
• Majors include Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major.
• Ability to work in Clinton, IL in person.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist on Cooling Tower Drone Inspections and related analyses.
• Contribute to Nuclear Core Analysis projects.
• Support Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump.
• Assist Thermal Overload Calculations for Motor Operated Valves.
• Help with Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation upgrades.
• Contribute to Weld Overlays calculations on Feedwater Heater.
• Participate in Hydrogen Electrolyzer project.
