Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Nuclear Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and data architecture support to the AFNWC in Albuquerque, NM. You will lead studies, architect data structures, analyze requirements, and interface with government customers and contractors to shape strategic weapons programs.

This full-time, on-site role requires 12+ years in systems engineering for ICBMs or aircraft, experience directing acquisitions, and a current security clearance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering with ICBMs and/or aircraft.
• Experience leading acquisition and operation of strategic weapons systems.
• Proven ability to interface with senior Government management and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Lead studies in support of AFNWC projects.
• Architect future data architecture requirements with AFNWC.
• Develop and validate system requirements with stakeholders.
• Review and analyze contractor deliveries.
• Contribute to the system acquisition process.
• Lead studies on system and functional requirements.
• Coordinate tasks for Aerospace ETG with AFNWC teams.
• Collaborate with government, Aerospace, and SETA staff.
• Prepare briefings and present recommendations.
• Manage budget and schedule for assigned activities.
• Travel up to 30% to domestic locations.
