Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking an experienced Nuclear Stockpile Expert to support stockpile management for our Arlington, VA-based government team. You will advise on nuclear stockpile issues affecting Air Force deterrence, coordinate with DoD and other agencies, and produce decision briefs and point papers for senior leadership.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10 years in DoD nuclear enterprise management, along with active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree and 10 years’ experience in DoD nuclear enterprise management organizations.
  • Recent advanced experience with nuclear stockpile stewardship activities and requirements at all levels of USG.
  • Recent work involving coordination of nuclear enterprise issues across DoD and other agencies.
  • Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • The Nuclear Stockpile Expert will provide guidance and recommendations to the Government team on all nuclear stockpile issues and requirements that affect Air Force strategic deterrence efforts and policy.
  • The NSE will conduct technical research and attend stakeholder engagements to inform and support Government senior leader decisions via point papers and decision briefs.
