Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Madison, PA is seeking a Steam Generator Field Service Technician to support on-site and field work on primary side components, including Eddy Current Testing, tube repair, and vessel closure services at customer sites. You will report to the Manager of Steam Generator Resources, travel up to 50%, and be based at the Waltz Mill facility when not traveling.

• High school graduate or equivalent; associates or bachelor’s in electronics/technical field preferred.
• Non-Destructive testing experience desired but not required.
• Electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot steam generator field service equipment at customer sites.
• Perform NDE technology, cleaning processes, and calibration activities.
• Document quality issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Demonstrate customer service focus and problem-solving.
• Participate in safety training and maintain unauthenticated access as required.
