Job summary

Constellation Energy in Clinton, IL seeks Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators. This role trains to supervise licensed reactor operators and directly oversee bargaining unit operators and equipment operators in a nuclear plant setting.

Successful candidates will complete NRC licensing during training and progress to supervisory duties, with relocation support as applicable and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5+ years at a noncomparable facility.
• SRO Instructor certification and 4 years at a comparable facility OR 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as needed.

Education

Engineering degree (4-year) or equivalent
