Job summary
Holtec International, supporting the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI, seeks a Receipt Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and dedication of purchased materials to ensure nuclear quality and regulatory compliance. The role supports procurement and warehousing functions, contributing to safe, reliable plant operations.
Responsibilities include auditing inspection procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring ANSI-level qualifications are met.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum ten years of nuclear industry experience in quality, warehousing, or related disciplines.
- ANSI Level I–III inspection experience preferred and ANSI Level III certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, examinations, and testing for receipt and dedication of purchased materials.
- Verify materials comply with quality, regulatory, and procurement requirements.
- Review and approve inspection procedures (ANSI Level II/III as applicable).
- Provide technical support to Stores and Procurement regarding receipt inspection activities.
- Maintain inspection documentation and records.
- Support inventory management and warehousing functions.
